This is the perfect holiday home! After decades of visits to Borrowdale
this is our first stay at Mountain View - the most idyllic, picturesque,
AND practical base in the valley : walks in all directions for every
ability ; surrounded by the heavenly delights of Borrowdale. We love
Brasscam! It is comfortable and well equipped and welcoming. Thank you!!

Ideal location for walks and views of mountains, two pubs within a mile
however no shops. The accommodation is very comfortable with the
highlight being the attic bedroom, spacious , excellent views and warm.
Also there is a garden good for sitting out surrounded by views of Borrowdale. It had excellent facilities with two fridges, freezer,
dishwasher, washing machine

A real gem! Peerless location with wonderful walks in all directions.
Very well equipped. Good pubs for meals. And those views from the
windows!

A cosy cottage providing warm shelter from the elements and snippets of
beautiful views from every window. We walked from the door/caught the
bus! A good base for all generations of our family. We hope we can stay
again.

Nine years! Well equipped and wonderfully site, beautiful walk-in all
directions. Love the Langstrath Inn in Stonethwaite and Grange Cafe.
